A hysterectomy is an operation to remove the uterus (womb). Dr. Jamshed performs it by keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery at Hyder Nursing Home.

Treatment
Other treatments are often tried first. If a hysterectomy is the right choice, Dr. Jamshed can do it by keyhole surgery through a few small cuts. After a hysterectomy, periods stop and pregnancy is no longer possible.
