Gallbladder stones
पित्त की थैली की पथरी
Gallbladder stones can cause pain in the upper right side of the stomach, often after a heavy or oily meal. Dr. Jamshed removes the gallbladder by keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery.
Stones that cause symptoms are usually treated by removing the gallbladder. Dr. Jamshed does this by keyhole surgery, through a few small cuts with a camera instead of one large cut. Most people live normally without a gallbladder.

You are admitted for the operation. The surgeon will explain the tests you need beforehand, how long you are likely to stay and when you can return to normal activity.
This page is general information. Your treatment depends on your examination and tests.
Gallbladder stones
Not always. Stones that cause no symptoms may only need watching. Dr. Jamshed will advise you after an examination and an ultrasound.
